The Great Mumbai Bird Race

An amazing event called - the Great Mumbai Bird Race - was organized in Mumbai for all birding enthusiasts in the city. It was a great event which involved teams of fours traveling thru different parts of the city covering different habitats in a quest to identify the maximum no. of species from sunrise to sunset.

The above image is of the Official logo of the race, which I had designed.
A few photos from the evening's programmes. A special thanks to Sunjoy Monga, Tim and Bob (the organizers) and all the other people who made it happen.

I'm still confused on who this guy is ... ? My bet as of now is on a Shikra .. any comments ??? At Uran - during the Bird Race

Caught these two in the act. Quiet common here in this season.

These fellow are probably the easiest Blues to be identified in the field with its distinct white band within the outer margin of the hind wing where any sort of lines are absent.
